The Detroit Metropolitan Airport Expands
Detroit Metropolitan Airport opened in 1929 with its first landing in 1930. The airport has been a vital part of the Detroit area and is a major hub for Delta airlines. When the airport was expanding its acreage, they asked Kent Foundation Repair for help.
A Stable Foundation for a Refueling Station
The Kent Foundation Team installed twenty-four helical piers as part of a commercial new construction project for a refueling station. The project duration ran from February through the first week of March 2016. The helical piers were driven an average of 60 feet deep in order to overcome poor soil conditions.
